On 27th of October, we ran our 2025 AGM.
Thanks to all who attended the evening, also special thanks to the Uniting Church for hosting us and providing the delicious supper,
Also thanks to Chelsea McNab, Executive Officer of Yarra Valley ECOSS in Wesburn, who gave a great presentation about the many programs they run to ‘Create an inspiring, educational and recreational facility demonstrating sustainable living solutions.’ Videos included in the presentation can be viewed on the ECOSS Youtube Channel.

Karen presented her President’s report which is included in the Annual Report. Highlights for the year included:
- Strong partnerships with various organisations and governments
- Running our first Expert EcoChat Day
- Sponsoring the Renewable Energy Demonstration trailer
- Running a successful free community event on the federal government’s cheaper home battery program
- Over 70 homes to date being assessed for energy efficiency, with special thanks to Graeme and Leo for running the program
- The fifth building to take advantage of our Community Energy Revolving Fund is the Lion’s club – thanks to Leo for managing that
- A new bonus for members with the discount at Verso Books
Karen offered special thanks to Greg Whimp, Leo DeJong, Rod Hysted, Graeme Scott, Hannah Deutscher, Trent Evans, Walter Skilton and Michelle Zwagerman for the work they have done and contributions they have made to the work of Healesville CoRE over the last year.
Greg spoke about the Financial Reports which are included in the Annual Reports and concluded that Healesville CoRE ended the 2024/2025FY with a satisfactory surplus and a healthy bank balance and the EV Charging Unit continues to be a good source of income going forward
