Remember the Community Energy Revolving Fund that we established to help community organisations install solar without having to find the money upfront?
Well, it’s doing exactly what it was designed to do.
In 2019, Robyn Jane Children’s Centre was the first organisation to install solar with a loan from our fund, and they have now paid off their interest-free solar loan in full, meaning the money can go back into the Fund to help another community organisation install solar.
This is such a great result for them AND the community – and a wonderful example of the fund ploughing investment back into the community.
