Our friends at Gippsland Climate Change Network have something called a Renewable Energy Demonstration (RED) Trailer, which they use to promote renewable energy options and raise energy awareness at schools and community events.
Healesville CoRE sponsored it to visit three local schools, and when we displayed it at our local market it was a huge drawcard. All three schools gave extremely positive feedback, with one of the teachers at Wandin Yallock Primary School writing, ‘Thank you Healesville CoRE for sending the RED trailer our way. This program will help us deliver and complete our Energy module for Resource Smart schools as well as help our students understand ways we can help our environment and our future’.
