We have reached our first goal. On May 4, 2017 we held the inaugural meeting of Healesville volunteers who are interested in forming a Steering Group to plan, organise & promote the Healesville CoRE Community Gathering on Thursday 29 June 2017. We are now underway!!
The meeting was a buzz of excitement and high energy as we heard about the big vision for engaging the broader Healesville community in creating a range of renewable energy initiatives for individuals, businesses and non-profit groups. The project is bold, creative and very innovative and a great opportunity for engaging the whole community in taking control of its energy production and consumption!
The Steering Group of 11 volunteers agreed to support this project and also to engage in the work required to organise and promote the Community Gathering on 29 June 2017 at 6.45 for a 7.00-9.00 event with inspiring speakers.
