Position Overview:
HCoRE is seeking a dedicated and community-minded individual to join our team as a Volunteer Memberships Coordinator. This role is pivotal in fostering a sense of community engagement and ensuring the growth of our organisation. As a Volunteer Memberships Coordinator, you will play a key role in welcoming new members, maintaining our membership database, and supporting our community outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Membership Management:
- Welcome new members to HCoRE and provide them with information about the organisation’s mission, activities, and benefits of membership.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date membership database, ensuring accurate records of all members and their contact details.
- Send regular membership renewal reminders and updates to existing members.
- Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with our team to actively engage with current and potential members.
- Organise and attend events, meetings, and workshops to promote HCoRE’s initiatives and encourage community involvement.
- Act as a liaison between the organisation and its members, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Volunteer Coordination:
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers as needed for membership-related activities and events.
- Foster a sense of camaraderie among volunteers and provide support and guidance to ensure their successful involvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong community-mindedness and a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Ability to dedicate approximately one hour per week to fulfill the responsibilities of this volunteer position.
- Basic understanding of databases is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and reliable.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse group of volunteers and team members.
- An understanding of the local community and its unique characteristics.
